Wait. Where did September and October go?

Where did they go?

I woke up and it was November!
Some how between September and November...
All of this happened...

There is always some kind of this going on in our house...

This time it was "goo"... more on that later... (Hannah wants her own blog because she wants to create and make things, so I told her she can guest spot on my blog until we get her one set up)
And this little girl is the one always creating something new... She's my everything...
Well, there is ALWAYS this going on...
In fact, I would be creating right along with Hannah, except... I'm usually doing some of this...
(I've finished this class since... YAY!)
Then, there was all of this fun... SO much fun!

In the Middle of October... I decided to go here for the weekend...
Because I had to see this with my own eyes,
The poppy display at the Tower of London is breathtaking, I'm so blessed to have been able to see it before it's done
"Blood swept lands and Seas of Red"
It's in memory of the people that served and died during WW1
(More on this later... It must be blogged about!)
Even though I was only there for the weekend,
I still had to do this...
(I finished this class a week ago... Double Yay! :)
Oh, and while I was in in London,
It did so much of this...
Good thing I love rain... and London
I don't care what the weather is, I'm going to love every second of it when I'm in England!
My weekend went ever so fast, and I went back to this...
I don't only work with special needs kids... but this one (I'm not allowed to show his face) has a very special place in my heart.
But soon,
Soon... Came this...
Lots of dressing up!
One of my sons is in that green costume, I honestly don't know what he's meant to be, but he was hilarious!
Especially when he tried to sit down!
And there was lots of trick or treating as well...
It's been a busy couple of months for the kids, and for me. I'm working full time, going to school full time and I was actually working a second job part time as well... That didn't last long, it kicked my butt! So I had to quit, I don't mind, I have more time with my children!
It's November
I love November, I love December too...
Things haven't been good on a few levels for me, personal mostly, but returning to my blog has reminded me that I have so much to be grateful for and so much to find beauty in.
Life really isn't so bad,
I Hope you have had a great start to your Autumn, I hope you see the beauty in the changing colors, I Hope you hear the crunch of leaves under your feet and I Hope that you enjoy the smells that mix in with the crisp air this time of year.
Until next time,

  1. Welcome back - time really does fly. I would love to be able to see the poppy display at the Tower.

  2. I was just thinking about you this week and wondering how you were and then you popped up here! Lovely to catch up with you and to know that all is going OK. Take care and I hope that you have a great rest of the year. xx

  3. Hey my friend, guess what? You've clicked back to a no reply blogger again, just thought I'd let you know! Aren't the poppies amazing? There are still a few weeks left while they dismantle it, which will take time, but I am so glad you got to see it again. Take care xx

  4. No wonder you haven't had time to blog, you've been so busy. I'd have loved to see the poppy display at the Tower, such a fabulous installation and one with so much meaning behind it.

  5. I feel you on the time passing way too quickly! How in the world am I already halfway through our contract in London? Man, I'm going to miss this place! Your first photo of the poppies is just gorgeous, by the way.

I'm sorry things have been a bit tumultuous for you lately. I've been thinking about you - missing your blogs! I hope that with the cutting out of the second job that you'll have a little extra time. I don't know how you do it all!

  6. Looks like you got lucky viewing the Poppy display in relative good weather. There are a lot of things I miss about living in England, the weather is certainly not one of them! I have my fair share of rainy windshield photos too!

  7. I have missed you! I am jealous (so so jealous) you got to go to London. It looks like you guys have been have a blast there! I love flubber v.much. I might make some just for myself :p

  8. This year has passed too quickly for me too! It looks like you've had a busy few months (I love the look of that goo, I would love to play with that!), I hope you have a calmer November and December! xxx

  9. Catching up with you, Tammy. So glad that you were able to come to London since you're a busy lady with a lovely family. I miss not being able to get to London as we did when we lived in the south of England, although there are many good things about living in Yorkshire. Happy weekend to you and yours!

Thank you for your positive comments!
