It makes it easier that I have a dog, so I know it's something that I have to do anyway, but even on days when I feel I can't be bothered walking, once I get outside, it makes me feel so much better. Do something that relaxes you, whether it is to take a bath, do a little stitching, a little creating, even cooking, whatever takes your mind of your worries... I know, it is easier said than done, especially when you are in the midst of it... regarding sugar, I haven't tried it, yet, but Xylitol (birch tree sugar), is a natural sweetener and supposed to help eliminate the craving for sugar, so try adding that to your tea or coffee and see if it helps... it does not promote cavities, is great for diabetics because it is not absorbed the same way as sugar, and I think it helps the triglycerides... so, sugar sweet in a healthier form! I clean because when I am stressed I can ...I clean. I clean because when I am stressed I can get the "dirt off" if you will... when I clean it lifts it all away. I can physically remove impurities and I create a link between the stress and the impurities in my brain. Not that they are the cause, but that the messes 'round the house etc are the stress in physical form! Stressful. Now I'm 60, my kids are adults, we live in a cottage in the woods, & we don't buy much so we have very few bills.<br />But I am trying to improve my health... so here's what I'm doing. I do yoga for about 15 minutes after I get up. The thing about yoga is that you learn it and do it at your own pace. Teeny tiny baby steps. With each day, your balance & strength improves and it's amazing how great it makes you feel. I walk 1.5 miles 4-6 x a week. And I'm slowly changing my diet. Less beef - breads - sweets and more fruits, chicken, baked fish, salads, and so on.<br />With 24 hours in a day, there's time for you. JUST TAKE IT because you DESERVE it.
